Sushi is healthy and delicious and fun to eat, so really there is almost no reason not to eat sushi for every meal. Some people say you shouldn’t order sushi when you’re in a place that’s landlocked, but Montreal has tons of really amazing sushi restaurants that prove that theory wrong. Here are four of Montreal’s finest sushi joints.
Kuzumi - 6394 Sherbrooke East
Kuzumi has a reputation for being one of Montreal’s best sushi restaurants, and it’s Bring Your Own Wine also, which is a huge added bonus because there’s a SAQ just down the road. The lobster roll is definitely recommended.
Saint Sushi Bar - 424 Duluth East
Saint Sushi is such a cool little restaurant, with great playlists, a fun atmosphere, and some truly amazing rolls. The decor is pretty weird, and the tasting menu is definitely recommended. Another tip: make a reservation. It’s a tiny spot so it's always busy.

Mikado - 1732 Saint Denis
Mikado has been in the same location for around 30 years, and in that time have built a reputation as Montreal’s go-to sushi spot. The service is great and the presentation of the food is just excellent.
Restaurant Park - 378 Victoria
This spot in Westmount is super pricey, but it’s worth it because the food is out of this world, the restaurant has great atmosphere, and the service is really friendly too. Park is considered one of the best restaurants in all of Canada, so you owe yourself a chance to check it out.
